Welcome to Gallery Server Pro! You can upload objects to the Public Playground album using the demo account (password="demo") or creating your own temporary account. Each account is given a personal album you can add objects to and tinker with. Have fun!

Album: Public Playground

This area contains user albums... To add objects, first create a temporary account or log on using the demo account (user name demo and password demo). Each account has a "home" album where you have add / edit / delete permission. You can upload most common media file types, including photos, videos, audio files, and documents. Each upload must be less than 5 (five) MB. Note that accounts and media objects in this area are periodically deleted.

Album: Photos

Gallery Server Pro can extract data that is embedded in photos, including titles, keywords (tags) and other metadata. The data is searchable and can be embedded in any of these formats: EXIF, tEXt, IFD, IPTC and XMP. Custom image and text watermarks can be enabled.

Album: Videos

When the free Binary Pack is installed, Gallery Server Pro includes a powerful encoding engine that creates web-friendly versions of your video and audio files. By default, all videos (except FLV and MP4) are converted to Flash Video (FLV). If that fails for any reason, they are converted to H.264/MP4. These settings are fully configurable to match your preferences.The original video file is preserved in your gallery and can be accessed at any time. Or delete the original to save hard drive space - the choice is up to you.

Album: Audio

Gallery Server Pro can store any kind of audio file. When the Binary Pack is installed, all audio files are converted to the web-friendly M4A format. (Note: MP3 files are not converted as they are already web-friendly.)

Album: Photos w/Facebook Co...

The items in this album have the Facebook comment widget attached to them, so you can add your comments with your Facebook account. Read this blog post for details. Feel free to play with it - your comments will be periodically purged.

Album: Docs / Files

Gallery Server Pro can act as a document library, too! Some files, such as TXT, PDF, and HTML documents are shown right in the web page. If a file can't be displayed in a browser, a link lets you download it to your computer.

Album: External Media Objec...

Link to media content such as YouTube videos. Many web sites offer embed code for adding their content to your web site. Add these snippets of HTML on the Add objects page just as easily as if you were uploading a photo.This is a great way to have a video gallery without using disk space or bandwidth since the video is streamed straight from the source.

Album: TIF, WMF, and animat...

Contains three albums that each contain samples of a different type of image - TIF, WMF, and animated GIF's.

Album: 100,000 Images

Gallery Server Pro easily handles hundreds of thousands of media objects. Here we have 100,000 images stored in several hundred albums.
