Hi, I would like to know where is the appropriate place and way to use my own title definition when synchronizing images. For example, I would like to remove the file extension when setting the title for new objects. Thanks.

The best way is to add a title to the image file's metadata using a tool like Vista's Photo Gallery. Gallery Server automatically uses this title if it is present, otherwise it defaults to the file name.
If you do this to images already in GSP, then check the option to re-import metadata when you synchronize.
You must have .NET 3.0 on the server for this to work.

No. It is hard coded to use the title, if present in the metadata. If not, it uses the filename.
