It would be nice to publish photos from windows photo gallery as you can in Gallery2. Gallery2 has a feature you can activate that lets you upload from within Windows photo gallery as if you were ordering prints from the site. I've tried it and it works well. I however prefer Gallery server better and will wait to see if we can get that feature included.

Do you have any screen shots or links to the Gallery2 function? I would like to learn more about it.

Roger, they are implementing it with a registry entry like this:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\PublishingWizard\InternetPhotoPrinting\Providers\Gallery Site URL] "displayname"="Gallery at URL" "description"="Publish Your Photos and Movies to Gallery" "href"="http://URL/gallery/main.php?g2_view=publishxp.PublishXpLogin" "icon"="http://URL/gallery/favicon.ico"
It directs Windows Photo Gallery to the Gallery2 site when you click the Print option, Order Prints. You just select the Gallery2 site you have setup and then it takes you thru the upload process.
This is the Vista registry setting, they also have a XP setting. very simular to this. It may not be a module at all but just directing Windows Photo Gallery to the proper urls on your site to upload the files. The feature works very well and you can select multiple files to upload just as if you had ordered prints from an online printing site. I like it because I can upload from any computer running Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Explorer.
I have it up and running on Godaddy with no probs under a sub folder on my business site. I sure would like to see this feature in GS if you could. My wife is not really computer savy and she has no problem uploading to it. Thanks Roger for a great product. Love GSP
